Energy metering- and monitoring system for Dunapack plants

Dunapack Packaging is proudly announcing a strong cooperation with Siemens to implement an energy metering- and monitoring system in 17 of our plants, being piloted first in Straßwalchen/Austria. The system will provide a comprehensive view of our energy consumption, establish a baseline and improve data accessibility to encourage and drive energy efficiency initiatives. We are targeting that these initiatives will lead to a saving potential of 4.250 tons CO2 per year, which fully pays into Dunapack Packaging’s ESG strategy.

Together we are taking a step toward smarter energy use and more sustainable future!

Enzenberg Alexander, stated: “ESG is of great importance for the Prinzhorn Group and all its divisions. We view ESG as a mission and as our responsibility towards our employees, customers, business partners and society at large. I remain convinced that the cooperation of Dunapack Packaging with Siemens will further strengthen us on our ESG journey.”

Santner Horst, added: “We are happy to kick-off the collaboration with Siemens in Straßwalchen. Efficient and responsible usage of our limited resources is fully in line with our company core values.”
